Air Fried Fish Tacos

Crispy air fried fish tacos with fresh mango salsa and creamy avocado cilantro crema.

Ingredients

Mango Salsa

  • 1 mango, diced
  • ½ red onion, diced
  • cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno, finely chopped (seeds removed)
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • ½-1 tsp finely chopped chipotle in adobo (adjust based on spice preference)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • Black pepper, to taste

Avocado Cilantro Crema

  • 2 avocados
  • cup plain greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • 1 tsp freshly squeezed orange juice
  • ½ tsp lime zest
  • 1 ½ tsp kosher salt
  • Black pepper, to taste

Air Fried Fish

  • 1 lb white fish (cod, halibut, mahi mahi, etc), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 ½ tsp ground cumin
  • 1 ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • Kosher salt, black pepper

Other taco ingredients

  • Corn or flour tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Start by making the salsa. Combine all ingredients together in a serving bowl. Adjust taste with additional salt and pepper, if needed. Cover and refrigerate.

  2. Make the avocado crema. Combine all ingredients in a high powdered blender or food processor. Blend until creamy. Add 1-2 tbsp water, if needed to help blend. Adjust taste with additional salt and pepper, if needed. Cover and refrigerate.

  3. Preheat air fryer at 390°F for 5 minutes. Add cut up fish to a large bowl and toss with several sprays of cooking spray, spices, salt, and pepper. Add fish to air fryer basket in a single layer.

  4. Air fry at 390°F for 8-10 minutes or until cooked through.

  5. Assemble tacos by spreading a spoonful of crema on warm tortillas. Top with air fried fish and mango salsa. Garnish with fresh cilantro and enjoy!
