Ingredient Breakdown:

  • Mango – I recommend picking mangos that are not too soft/ripe so it makes it easier to dice them up. You still want them sweet though!
  • Red onion – you could also use white onion.
  • Cilantro – feel free to add more or less depending on your taste preferences.
  • Jalapeno – add more or less depending on your spice preferences.
  • Lime – can also substitute with rice vinegar.
  • Chipotle in adobo – I love adding this to my mango salsa for an extra kick. Feel free to omit if your sensitive to heat!
  • Avocado – make sure it’s ripe so you can a creamy crema consistency.
  • Greek yogurt – can substitute with regular plain yogurt or vegan yogurt.
  • Garlic – feel free to add more to the crema if you’re a huge garlic fan like me!
  • Orange juice – this adds another layer of citrusy flavor to the crema. You can also substitute with more lime juice.
  • White fish – I used cod in this recipe, but halibut or mahi mahi also works great.
