Ingredients
  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup raw walnuts
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup*
  • 1-2 tsp water
  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs
  • (Optional): 1 scoop vegan chocolate protein powder
Instructions
  1. In a food processor, blend together oats and walnuts (and protein powder, if added) until it resembles a flour. Add in cocoa powder, orange zest, almond butter, coconut oil, and maple syrup. Add 1-2 tsp water until the dough starts to come together. Add cacao nibs and pulse a few more times to combine.

  2. Taking 1 heaping tbsp of dough at a time, roll into balls. Store in the fridge in an airtight container.

Recipe Notes

*Add maple syrup to your preferred sweetness or feel free to substitute with 1-2 pitted, medjool dates.
