As we approach the end of the summer, we must savor all of the refreshing summer recipes and that includes smoothies. Nothing hits the spot quite like a thick smoothie bowl topped with fresh fruit and granola.

O Organics® and Open Nature® products, found exclusively in my area at Safeway and Albertsons stores, make it easy for you to enjoy delicious, plant-based, healthy products whether you’re short on time or want a quick, simple meal.

Mindful eating shouldn’t have to involve multiple trips…it should be convenient without sacrificing quality for value or only having a small selection of products. What I love most about Safeway stores is their large line of organic, minimally processed, affordable products, specifically from the Open Nature and OOrganics line. Open Nature products are made from simple ingredients and free from 110 food additives like artificial flavors. I am all about sustainability and Open Nature has biodegradable and compostable products. O Organics is USDA Certified Organic and much more affordable than leading organic brands.

I buy my O Organics and Open Nature products at my local Safeway stores, and you can also find them exclusively at the Albertsons Companies family of stores, including Albertsons, ACME Markets, Jewel-Osco, Vons, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb, Shaw’s, Star Market, United Supermarkets and Carrs/Safeway. Visit safeway.com to find a store near you and discover meal prep tips and recipe ideas.

Safeway also offers Grocery Delivery and DriveUp & Go™ for convenient ways to shop!

O Organics smoothie packets are the ultimate go-to when I want a smoothie in no time. My favorite flavor is their Blueberry Blitz that contains frozen blueberries, apples, blackberries, and butternut squash. It is certified organic, affordable, and extremely convenient.

Each packet contains two servings, so simply add 1 cup of the mix to a blender with your preferred beverage and other smoothie add-ins.

This blueberry banana smoothie bowl is made with a few simple ingredients, including frozen bananas, O Organics Blueberry Blitz Smoothie packet, O Organics Unsweetened Soy Milk, peanut butter, and chia seeds. All ingredients are blended until thick and creamy.

Compared to other brands of non-dairy milk, the O Organics Unsweetened Soy Milk, is more affordable and provides a creamy, rich texture and taste to the smoothie.

A smoothie bowl isn’t complete without granola, in my opinion. Open Nature offers granola that contains simple, easy-to-read ingredients, which I am all about. I highly recommend topping this smoothie with their Almond Butter Coconut Chocolate Granola!
