Soft, gooey, and ultra-fluffy coffee cinnamon rolls. These are the ideal addition to your holiday spread.

Ever dream of soft, fluffy, and sweet rolls filled with swirls of cinnamon and sugar? I hope you have.
As we are approaching the holiday season, I am gearing up for the countless festive sweet and savory dishes. My time spent in the kitchen will be increased by 90%…I am sure of it.
Since I will be spending much more of my time baking it is essential that I am stocked up on the essentials. Safeway provides an extensive range of products that will satisfy all your holiday baking needs. From baking ingredients and holiday sauces, to festive coffee and sustainable compostable dinnerware, they’ve got it all.

O Organics® and Open Nature® products, found exclusively in my area at Safeway and Albertsons stores, make it easy for you to enjoy delicious, plant-based, healthy products whether you’re short on time or want a quick, simple meal.
Mindful eating shouldn’t have to involve multiple trips…it should be convenient without sacrificing quality for value or only having a small selection of products. What I love most about Safeway stores is their large line of organic, minimally processed, affordable products, specifically from the Open Nature and O Organics line. Open Nature products are made from simple ingredients and free from 110 food additives like artificial flavors. I am all about sustainability and Open Nature has biodegradable and compostable products. O Organics is USDA Certified Organic and much more affordable than leading organic brands.
I buy my O Organics and Open Nature products at my local Safeway stores, and you can also find them exclusively at the Albertsons Companies family of stores, including Albertsons, ACME Markets, Jewel-Osco, Vons, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb, Shaw’s, Star Market, United Supermarkets and Carrs/Safeway. Visit safeway.com to find a store near you and discover meal prep tips and recipe ideas.
Safeway also offers Grocery Delivery and DriveUp & Go™ for convenient ways to shop!

These coffee cinnamon rolls are made using Signature SELECT™ Fine Granulated Sugar, Signature SELECT Maple Pecan Ground Coffee, and Signature SELECT Clover Honey.
Sugar is in the top 3 for a must-have ingredient this season, and Safeway’s Signature SELECT line provides high-quality fine sugar at an affordable price. To add some extra sweetness and moisture to these cinnamon rolls, I used ¼ cup of Signature SELECT Clover Honey. It is sweet, smooth, and again, comes at an affordable price compared to competing stores.

Of course, these cinnamon rolls wouldn’t be coffee-flavored without the coffee. When I tell you I was surrounded by an aroma of fall spices when I opened Signature SELECT’s Maple Pecan Ground Coffee I am not lying one bit. It does not lack in the flavor department one bit and adds a delicious coffee flavor to this sweet treat.

These Coffee Cinnamon Rolls are…
- Soft, fluffy, and gooey
- Egg and dairy-free
- Sweet and oh so delicious

Soft, gooey, and ultra-fluffy coffee cinnamon rolls. These are the ideal addition to your holiday spread.
- ¾ cup non-dairy milk
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup room temperature vegan butter
- ¼ cup Signature SELECT granulated sugar
- ¼ cup Signature SELECT honey
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp Signature SELECT ground coffee (ground to a fine powder)
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- Pinch of ground cloves
- 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 3 tbsp softened vegan butter
-
Grease an 8×12” baking dish with vegan butter. Combine non-dairy milk and apple cider vinegar. Set aside for 5 minutes.
-
To the bowl of a stand mixer using the paddle attachment, cream together the vegan butter, sugar, honey, and salt on medium speed until smooth. Add milk mixture and vegetable oil. Mix until combined.
-
Add flour, ground coffee, spices, and yeast. Combine on medium speed until a soft dough starts to form. Switch to a dough hook once the mixture has come together. Knead for 5 minutes until a soft dough ball is formed and it springs back when touched. It will be slightly tacky, but will not stick to your hands.
-
Transfer dough to a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Place in a warm environment to rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
-
Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface. Roll out into a 12×14” rectangle. Spread the 3 tbsp of softened vegan butter over the surface. Sprinkle over brown sugar and cinnamon evenly. Roll dough into a slightly tight log. Cut into nine even portions.
-
Place rolls in the prepared baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise in a warm environment for 30-45 minutes.
-
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Bake rolls for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Drizzle over with icing no more than 5 minutes after taking out of the oven.
